Hi, my name is Jamie R. (Armstrong) Shirah. And we are in the process of looking up family members for our family tree. Most of our Armstrongs were from OH. We got as far as my GGG Grandfather (James Armstrong b.1818) and we are stuck now.
Just wondering if our Armstrongs are related.

I have traced my Armstrongs back to 1745 coming from VA. The first Armstrong I found in OH was John S. Armstrong (1807-1865) and he settled in Adams County, Ohio. My line stayed in Adams County until my great grandparents moved to Fayette County.
