Charlotte Hassler Prugh was the wife of Rev. P. C. Prugh, an pastor of the Reformed Church and Superintendent of the St. Paul's Orphans Home from 1882-1903.

Mrs. Prugh was the matron of the home from 1882, until her death in 1898.
