Uncle Edwin
The man at the center in the back of this photo is Edwin J. Germann (1869 - 1942) originally of Van Wert County, my great grand uncle. He was a professor of music at Rochester Normal College in Indiana and at one time had his own private music school in Fort Wayne. Though I have no idea who other specifically might be in the photo, the Schumms and Germanns were related, and I have no dount this band may consist of other relation as well. I have a similar photo taken later, but with a slightly smaller band.
