Ashtabula Ohio Bridge Disaster 1876

Engraving depicting the Ashtabula, Ohio Bridge Disaster that occurred Dec. 29, 1876, killing 98 passengers and crew members.
The engraving accurately shows the first engine of the train (it had two engines) on the bridge, upper right, the only section of the train that was not consumed by the disaster.
