Carolyn Sue (nee. Coleman) Capehart and Charles Robert Capehart - July 27, 2008

Carolyn Sue (nee. Coleman) Capehart and Charles Robert Capehart - July 27, 2008

A photo taken of (husband and wife) Charles Robert Capehart [pictured right] and Carolyn Sue (nee. Coleman) Capehart [pictured left] at a surprise party held for their 46 year wedding anniversary. Due to several problems the year before, the family was not able to hold one for them on their 45th. The family of Mr. & Mrs. Capehart came together at the home of their one daughter Janice Kay (nee. Capehart) Wilson in Chester, West Virginia for the party and invited Carolyn and Chuck as if it was just a picnic. Not feeling well, the two almost didn't show. When they finally arrived, they were both welcomed with a big "Surprise!" yelled from all of the attending relatives. The party had lots of food, gifts for the Capehart's, and good time spent with one another.

This photo was taken during the day. Look at those bright happy faces. :-)

Charles is the son of Dale Curtis Capehart and Iris Jean (nee. Walter) Capehart. He was born in Rogers, Columbiana County, Ohio. Carolyn is the daughter of Wayne Eugene Coleman and Betty Eileen (nee. Elkins) Coleman. She was born in East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio. The couple lived together with their three daughters (Cathy, Sandy, and Janice) in both Calcutta and Wellsville of the same county.

They are my maternal grandparents.
