Eli Longley Cook

Eli served in the 55th Illinois Infantry Regiment,Company I as a Corporal in the Civil War. He was wounded severly in left thigh in action at Pittsburg Landing, Tenn. (Battle of Shiloh) April 6, 1862 and died of said wounds April 16, 1862 at Cinncinati, Ohio.
