This photo was taken in Durant, Bryan Co., Oklahoma. Ben Risner held many honors of being the longest serving lawman in the US - he was the youngest to serve and the oldest to retire. Everyone in the county knew Sheriff Ben Risner of Bryan County. He was the son of Jackie Risner.
