Photo was taken before 1900.

Leona bussard

My mother Helen Leona marsh be shad a was Maude mc Donnell daughter. Middle name for her aunt Leona. She was a change of life baby. We were not close to her family. I want to know more about them. T.y. She was raised by Kyle lake ( b&o reservoir). Fathers name Elmer Marsh.

My husband's bussards

the earliest of my husband's bussards i can find are Newton W. Bussard born 1876 married to Sarah E. Daughterty. both born in pa. Earliest census i can find is 1900 in Horton twshp, elk, pa but all following census' are in Falls Creek , Jefferson, PA . Could William possibly be an uncle or father to Newton?

William & Leona

I remember Aunt Willa & Uncle Jay. They were both lovable characters. I don't recall ever meeting Bob & Lloyd but my Mom, Ann (Anna Belle), spoke of them. Also, my Grandma Hice was a sister to Jay. Her name was Olive. Mom is still with us-not doing very well now.

My distant relatives

I have this same photo. You may remember my parents, Lloyd and Dorothy Wiand. Lloyd and his brother, Bob, were son's of Jay Bussard and Willa Wolff.

My dad passed away in 2007 so my mom has been giving me the family archives to preserve and put into order. She did say she remembers your name.

We think the babies might be Ann Holt-Hice-McConnell and her cousin Leona Horn. Taken around late 1925 early 1926.
