Shannon Harclerode was born June 26, 1870 in Everett, Bedford County, PA. His parents were David Harclerode Sr. (1841-1911) and Mary Wyles Harclerode (1841-1919). He married Estella "Stella" Showalter Harclerode (1878-?) on Oct 25, 1893 in Everett, Bedford County, PA. They had the following children: Chalmers William Harclerode (1894-1942), Mary Harclerode Camino (1897-?), David Banner Harclerode (1899-1947), Paul Harclerode (1902-?), and Harry Harclerode Sr. (1904-1943). Shannon Harclerode died Nov 2, 1941 in Kistler, PA.
