Eva Brown Harclerode at United Brethern School in Monessen PA

Eva Harclerode at United Brethern School in Monessen, PA. Photo taken about 1917-18.

Eva Harclerode is seen standing in the last row at the top of the stairs. She is the first lady to the left. It's believed that Eva went to this school to learn how to be a teacher. She attended a two year teacher school. She was a teacher from 1919-1921.

The rest of the people are unknown.

Or, the photograph could also be a church group. The building has a small plaque on it that says: "First United Brethern Church".

The photographer of this photograph was "M.A. Crawford of Monessen, PA".

Recognize anyone? Do you know if the church still exists? Please let me know.
