William James Young and his farm horse

William James Young with his farm horse in Summit Twp, Crawford Co, PA.
William James Young was the son of James Alfred Young and Margaret "Maggie" Davis and grandson of Samuel Young and Catherine Mercer. He farmed in Summit Township from 1902 till 1923 when he moved to Mercer Co, PA and worked for the Bessemer Railroad.
Photo taken at the Samuel Young family farm, Inlet Road, Harmonsburg, Summit Twp, Crawford Co, Pa, about 1910.
This farm house and barns still exist today but are uninhabitable. It is located about one mile north of Harmonsburg on Inlet Road, about a 1/4 mile east of the road.
