Robert Temple, born in Hopewell Township, Beaver County, PA, on July 7, 1822, son of Robert and Mary Davis Temple.
He married, first, Mary Jane Craig (1824-1864) in 1850; they had 6 children. Second, he married, Catherine Winkle (1835-1929), in 1864; they had 2 children. Robert Temple died in Hopewell Township on Feb 8, 1899.
