Unknown Woman, early 1900's

Unknown woman, early 1900's. Photo taken in R. B. Truman Studio, Brookville, PA.

Possibly Ida Mae Sibley

This might be Ida Mae Sibley, wife of Washington Scott Sibley of Brookville. This woman looks exactly like a photo of my great grandmother, but maybe 10 -15 years younger than in my photo. The gaze and eyeglasses run in the family. Submitted by Stephanie Lyon, daughter of Virginia Porter (née)of Brookville.

Possibly Ida Mae Sibley

This might be Oda Mae Sibley, (born Sept 19,1886 in Warsaw, ) daughter of Washington Scott Sibley of Brookville/Ridgeway. I was told he was a well to do businessman ,a minor county official who also had a farm in Ridgeway, and that she had a degree from a college in Home economics. She died in the State sanitarium of a brain tumor. No DOD. Oda married Pressley M Porter, ( born Uniontown,Pa April 3rd 1889 )on March 2nd 1922 as issued by the clerk of the orphans court of Erie County,Pa number 663. (Which is puzzling due to their age at marriage)-their residence is listed as 400 Broad street, Brookville. Per my mothers birth certificate issued by Du Bois hospital on October.22'1927. This woman looks exactly like a photo of my great grandmother, but maybe 15 plus years younger than in my familys photo. Still very well dressed, same physique and with same quality of photography. The gaze ,hair and eyeglasses are still seen in the family appearance. Submitted by Stephanie Lyon, daughter of Virginia Lyon (née) Porter of Brookville and Ridgeway.
