PVT Roman Grill

Roman Grill was my grandfather. He passed away January 1 1998.

He had been a commercial artist in St. Paul before being drafted in 1943 at age 34. He went through Signal Corps basic training at Camp Crowder near Neosho, MO and was then assigned to the 6th USAAF at Albrook Field, Panama C.Z. He worked on the staff of the 6th Air Force Magazine, Caribbean Breeze, until his discharge in 1946. After the war, he returned to the private sector and worked as an art director and creative director until his retirement.

I'm curious where your father and my grandfather may have met.

Information I found regarding your inquiry

I locate people as a "hobby" and this is some information I found on the photographer you mentioned. I hope it is helpful in your quest for more information on your grandfather. Please feel free to contact me if I can help find anyone else. Best of luck!
