Four Unknown Women

Four Unknown Women

Four unknown women taken at the J. W. Sires Studio in Emlenton, PA.

Do you recognize them? Please let me know.

Photo found in an album belonging to Melissa McCreary Chappell of New Castle, PA, the daughter of Joseph W. and Minnie Emma Cearfoss McCreary, Sr. and the wife of Robert Chappell. Photo courtesy of Evelyn Jean Chappell Hicks.

The sleeves of the young woman in the right in the back are from 1889-92. The other women have skirts typical of this period, but hairstyles and tops more typical of the 1880s.

They don't look familiar but, I have pics of my family done by the same photographer. the pics were taken in about somewhere between 1860-1880!!
Does anyone know anything about this photographer??
