Clem Spawn, Sam Vanasdale and friends June 27, 1907 Idlewild, PA Tintype

Tintype of Clem Spawn ( Sphon ?), Sam Vanasdale and two friends. June 27, 1907. Idlewild, PA

I cannot verify Clem, but I believe Sam went on to OH, where he had two sons, Sam Jr and Wayne. I believe Sam was a mechanic and died in 1990.

Spawn ? Sphon, possible correct spelling is Spohn

Hi I was looking at your picture and was wondering if the correct spelling is Spohn? My maiden name was Spohn and was wondering which man you are referring to as being Clem? One of the men has a strong resemblance to my older brother, not that he is that old, but thinking family traits possibly. My grand father was from Butler county area also and worked as coal miner as a young boy in the area.
