Alberta Ethel Kocher was born 11 Sept 1912 in Harvey's Lake, Luzerne County, PA to Sidney and Mary Aton Kocher.
Her daughter was born to Raymond Bachman. Alberta and Raymond never married, in fact, Alberta seems to be the only person to ever know Raymond and after their daughter was born there was no further contact between them.
Alberta married Bertine Lewis Balliet on 5 May 1934 and had three sons. Bertine raised Alberta's daughter as his own.
