Shannon Oliver Harclerode was the son of David and Mary Wyles Harclerode. Shannon was born June 26, 1870 in Everett, Pa and married Estella Showalter Oct 25, 1893. Shannon and Estella had five children - Chalmers, Mary, Paul, David and Harry.
Shannon was keeper of the Thropp Furnace in Everett, and later moved to Mt. Union, Pa. Shannon was "a lover of the outdoors and greatly interested in hunting."
