Bible Notes

This photo of an old bible page was NOT taken from an old bible of the Aarons. It came out of an old bible belonging to Jacob Weaver who was a Methodist minister before enlisting in the Civil War. It was a bible commentary published in London in 1814. The 4 children listed were children of Jacob Weaver and Eliza Jane Greenawalt. The handwriting was Eliza Jane's. They were first baptised by Methodist ministers. Two years after Jacob's death, Eliza married Joseph Kerr in the Catholic Church. She and her children were baptised in the Catholic faith before her remarriage.
This photo belongs to Barbara J. Mogush who scanned it in 2002 and sent it to Mike Wiggin.
