These are the descending families of Benjamin Mosley Sr. & Prudence Hammond Mosley.

Prudence's parents were Thomas Hammond and Mary Ann Nightengale. They resided in Glascow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and the West Bromwichand Tipton, Staffordshire, England originally. They emigrated to the United States in 1865/66 and settled in New Castle, Lawrence County, where they remained the rest of their lives.

Benjamin Mosley Sr. and Prudence Hammond Mosley emigrated in 1873 to settle near her parents, Thomas and Mary Ann Nightengale Hammond, and many other connecting families that were already residing in New Castle, PA. They, too, spent the rest of their lives in New Castle.
