Daniel W. Platt headstone

Daniel W. Platt was either born at sea (per a census record of a child) or Plattsburgh, NY (civil war records). It is known that he married Juliana Lambertson who was from Holland. Daniel and Julia are listed on the 1850 Richmond Twp, Crawford County, PA census record with their children. Their children were Alonzo, John L., Sarah E., Margaret L., Frances, Mary Evalina, Daniel W. Platt, Jr. Mary and Daniel, Jr. were twins.
Daniel Sr. joined Company E, 29th Reg of the Ohio Volunteers 16 Sept 1861. Daniel's rank was corporal when he was medically discharged 22 Jul 1862. Daniel occupation was listed as a farmer in his military records.
Daniel Sr. is buried in Kelloggsville Cemetery with his second wife, Ann.
