From an old photo album of portraits taken in Meadville, Townville and surrounding areas



From her hair and collar, I would guess this is about 1876-78. See "Victorian Costume for Ladies" by Linda Setnik. According to "Camera Clues" by Joe Nickell, this kind of cameo style Carte de Visite was around from about 1868 to the mid 1870s.
