Glenn Franklin Wood, 85, a resident of Belen, NM, died on Friday, April 23, 1999. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belen, of the Belen Breakfast Optimist Club, and a member and past master of Masonic Lodge 790 in Pennsylvania.
He was a very loving husband and father, his family wrote. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Frank B. and Cora Levina Wood; a daughter, Ellen Jean Lang; his brothers, Kenneth Edwin Wood and Robert Marshall Wood; and his sister, Ruth Evelyn Fleisch.
He is survived by his wife, Nola Wood of Belen; his daughters, Darla Ann Cunningham of Florida, Sandra Lynn Hunter of Washington State, Glenna Anne Campagnaro, Pricilla Ruth Paige and Mary Jean Catellier, all of Wyoming; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and stepchildren.
Private cremation has taken place. Memorial service and interment will be held at a later date at Lupher Chapel Cemetery in Pennsylvania. For those who wish, the family requests that any donations be made in Glenn's honor to the First Presbyterian Church of Belen or the Belen Breakfast Optimist Club. WOOD, ANNA - Cochranton - Anna Wood, 76, 185 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, a school employee, died Friday, Oct. 25, 1991, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Lebanon, Pa., April 22, 1915, a daughter of Joseph and Christina Metz Fisher. She married Glenn Wood, Sept. 1, 1969. He survives. She previously married Walter Fetterolf and Robert Wood, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was employed by Cochranton schools in custodial work, and was a member of Cochranton Presbyterian Church. She was a charter member of Eastern Star Chapter 547, Cochranton.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, W. Frank Wood of Randleman, N.C., David L. Wood of Balston Spa, N.Y., and Charles Fetterolf of Utica; a daughter, Wilma Moody of Milford, Del.; two half brothers; a half sister; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Fisher; and two sisters, Betty Arnold and Gladys Stallsmith.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. at Cochranton Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Walter Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lupher Cemetery, Venango County, following cremation. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ronald Dickson Funeral Home, Franklin Street, Cochranton.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cochranton Presbyterian Church.
Anna was cremated.
Anna's parents were born in Austria-Hungary.
