Harry and Elva Lytle Brierly

Harry Edward Brierly was born Jul 11,1906, to Charles and Elizabeth Basinger Brierly. Harry met and married Elva Kathryn Lytle and with four of six children made their life long home in South Connellsville, PA. Harry was a master die setter at the Anchor Plant and a Heating Air Condition Technician. He was an active member of the Volunteer Fire Department for the greater portion of his life, and was the current Department Chief when he succumb to heart failure. Harry died Dec 28, 1976.

Elva Kathryn Lytle was born July 20, 1912 to Norman and Sarah Etta Burd Lytle. Elva married Harry E. Brierly Oct 11, 1930, making their home in South Connellsville. She was active in WWII Civil Defense and the Red Cross, where she became an instructor. She was also involved with her family in schools and church. She died Jan 8, 1998 and is buried with her husband and two children in Mount Olive Cemetery, Bullskin Twp.
