R. J. Deford

R. J. Deford spent many years in Big Run area and served as 1st Lt., Company K, 155th Regiment., Pennsylvania Volunteers, serving at the Gettysburg battles. Risden was born about 1819 in Maryland. He died prior to 1890 and his burial place is unknown.
He is the father of Martha Jane Deford (1842-1926)
