Ernest J. LeGrand Sr Family

Ernest J. LeGrand Sr. ran a small general store and gas station on Route 19 in Sheakleyville, Mercer County, PA, for a number of years in the 20s and 30s. This store, which burned down a couple of years ago, was later run by Cecilia Bertha May LeGrand's family, and was known as May's Store until it burned in early 2002. Cecelia, also ran a beauty shop for a time in the same building as the store.
The LeGrands later moved on to Franklin, Venango County, PA. Ernest Sr., Cecelia, and Ernest Jr. all died in Franklin and are buried at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens there.
