Harrison (Lichty) Lichtley

Harrison Lichtley, 86, widower of Mary F. (Moser) Lichtley, 221 Bryton avenue, South Pottstown, died Tuesday afternoon at his home following a month long illness.

Mr. Lichtley was born in Pottstown, the son of the late Harrison and Rebecca (Hoffman) Lichtley and lived at the Bryton Ave. address for 14 years.

He worked for the Reading company 40 years until his retirement in 1941.

Surviving are three sons, John Liclitley, Whom he resided; Robert Lichtley, 5
East Second street, and George Lichtley, Lansdale, and five daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Ondlk, 849 South street; Anna, wife of William Graham, 316 Ash street, Stowe; Evelyn, wife of John Yusko, Sanatoga Park. Eleanor, wife of Grant Geiger, 227 Bryton avenue, South Pottstown; Doris, wife of Richard Pennypacker, 314 Spring street, Royersford; 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday it 2 PM from the Skean Funeral home, 404 High street. Officiating will be the Rev. John Buchko, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, Birdsboro.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. A viewing will be tomorrow night from 7 to 8:30 o'clock.
