Catherine "Katie" Cecilia Finnegan Stoop, daughter of Michael Finnegan and Elizabeth Walsh, born on 1 July 1874 in the Hill section of Pittsburgh. She is the wife of John H. Stoop and the mother of John William Stoop, Sr. She is the sister of Ann Green and Margaret Jones of Aspinwall. They were all baptized in St. Brigid's Parish, Pittsburgh.
