John Reed, born 29 March 1793 at Sherman's Valley, Lycoming County, PA and died 16 Dec. 1866 at Highland Twp., Clarion County, PA. He was married to Jane Lamb Reed, 1800 - 1844. The couple had ten children, including William S. Reed. This image was located and preserved due to the efforts and lifetime work of family historian Judith Etzel King, a fellow Reed family descendant and expert on Reed family history. It is reproduced for the public with her consent.
