William S. Reed, born 1823, Highland Twp., Clarion Co., PA and died 25 Oct. 1880, Highland Twp., Clarion Co., PA. Parents were John Reed and Jane Lamb Reed (see also photo I submitted of John Reed, his father). William was married to Elizabeth Berlin Reed (1833 - 1924, also, Clarion County). They had eleven children. Most survived to adulthood. He was a lumberman, farmer, local school director and active church member. Photograph of William S. Reed is due to the lifetime efforts of family historian Judith Etzel King, who is an expert on Reed family history. It is made available here with her consent.
