Benjamin Franklin White, born in Washington County, PA, born around 1862. Son of John F. and Mary White. Estimated birth date 1862. His first wife was Emma Jane Wilson. They had 2 children. A son born in 1890, and a daughter, Bessie, born in 1898. They divorced and each took a child. The 1910 and 1920 census, have Benjamin and his son, Sherman, (from 2nd marriage) in Hanover Township, Beaver County, PA.

Parents of Benjamin F. White

Benjamin Franklin White was the son of John Frederick White (1835-1922)and Mary Ann Sanders (1940-1926). They were married c. 1857 and had 11 children.

Benjamin's grandparent's were Jacob White and Elizabeth McEllany.

Benjamin's mother, Mary Ann, was the daughter of James Sanders
(c. 1808-1848) and his wife, Sarah (c. 1805-bef 1860). Samuel was born in Brooke Co. (later Hancock Co.) WV. Samuel's father, Benjamin, moved from Fairfax, VA to Brooke Co. in the very early 1800's and the family lived on the land his wife (Ann Ratliff) had inherited from her brother. Ben and Nancy bought out the interests of the other Ratcliff heirs.

Mary Ann Sanders White had 8 siblings, some having moved to Iowa and Missouri.
