William F. Huber during the second world war. William was in the US Navy as a gunner's mate on merchant ships that sailed the Atlantic. In this photo Bill was standing at a 20mm anti aircraft gun.
William F. Huber was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, working for USS at the Irwin Works. A number of family members still live in the south hills area of Pittsburgh.
