McNutt Transfer Truck 1920

McNutt Transfer Truck 1920

This 1920 White 27hp truck belonged to William Gordon McNutt Jr. and was used as a moving van and to haul freight in Clarion. His brother Harold McNutt and brother-in-law Chester McMaster had the railway express agency in Clarion. He told of going up the Toby hill in mud roads by revving the engine up and going a short distance then repeating the process.

The truck came with solid tires and William McNutt replaced them with the tires shown.
