Bethlehem Baptist Church at Ruff Creek, Greene County burned on Sunday morning, Mar 26, 1911 the Sunday that Rev. Cottrill was to preach his farewell sermon.

The church was erected by H.G. Clayton and the bricks were made locally across the street near Ruff Creek General Store.

The church has since been rebuilt.
