Captain David John Pfietser, son of Herman Pfiester and Margaret Snyder, was born Dec 1921 near Barnesboro. During World War II, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army Air Corp flying B17s over Europe.
After the war, he married Elizabeth McMullen in Sept 1945. He and his wife live in Florida. They have two children.
