Sgt. John V. Pfeister, son of Ambrose Pfeister and Melissa Schettig. He was born 13 Aug 1916 near Carrolltown.
During World War II, he served as a sergeant in D Company of the 134 AAA Battalion.
Photo taken just before his discharge at the end of the war. He died 17 Dec1985 near Kittanning, PA.
