Catherine Davenport Shirey

Catherine Davenport Shirey lived to be 104 years old and was considered Scottdale's oldest citizen at the time of her death in Oct 1957.
She was the youngest of the six children of William Davenport and Elizabeth Rowe. She is buried at the Barren Run Cemetery, South Huntingdon Twp, Westmoreland Co., between her husband and son. Her mother is also buried there. Her father lies in an unmarked grave in Marietta, Ohio.
Photo was taken in 1930s.
