William Bash Travis is the son of William Bash II and Eliza Kidd Travis, grandson of William P. Travis and Jane Diven-McPherson Travis, and great grandson of William and Mary Jane Gahagan Travis.

Mary Jane Comiskey/Cummiskey Travis is the daughter of Augustus Cummiskey and Sarah Porter, granddaughter of Dr. Edward Mohney Cummiskey and Jane Elizabeth Porter and William Porter and Margaret "Betsy" Porter, and great granddaughter of John Patrick Porter and Eleanor "Nellie" Kearney Porter.

Mary Jane Comiskey Travis was the niece of Joseph and J.P.R. Comiskey who fought in the Battle of Fair Oaks, 105th Div. for Jefferson County.
