William Arthur Altenhof's photo on his business card. He was also a barber, as was his father, Herman Charles Altenhof. William A. Altenhof was born Oct 6, 1880 in Pittsburgh to Herman C. Altenhof and Christina B. Uetz Altenhof, and died Jul 10, 1913 of tuberculosis at the age of 33 in Pittsburgh.
He married Caroline Emman Nable during 1901. She was born Oct 25, 1882 in Allegheny City, and died Oct 4, 1957 in Pittsburgh. They had four children, William, Agnes, Ellen, and Mildred.
