Born in Reading Pa 18 October 1818, Died 4 August 1870. Married Mary Elizabeth Keller and had 2 children: Charles D Norton (Chas) and Anna Cecelia Norton. He was in the Coal Business. He was a Member of the Board of Muhlenburg College and set up the Norton Professorship at Mt Airy Seminary, Pa.
