Henry and Mary Madgeline Schorman Texter

Henry and Mary Magdeline Schorman Texter in a photograph taken around 1885. They lived in Licking twp on a farm near Turniphole. They were the parents of Catharine Texter Keister, John Henry Texter, Martin Texter who died at the age of twelve, Richard Texter, Aaron Texter and Monroe Texter.

Mary died in 1888 and Henry died around 1893.

Henry and his brother George Texter came to Clarion County following their father-in-law Johan Peter Schorman and his wife Mary around 1838. George was the elder brother and was married to Rebecca Schorman Texter.
