Mary Ella Lawson Teets

Mary Ella Lawson was born 12 Mar 1837 at Willet, PA, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Lawson, was born at Willet, Pennsylvania, March 12th, 1837.
In 1865, she moved with her family to Dayton, PA, where, in 1870, she married H. A. Teets, then a prominent school teacher, who later became a Methodist minister. Rev. Teets pastored at Salem, Clarion District; Troy, Shippensville, Belleview, Karns City, Rouseville and Siverly, Fredonia, Sheakleyville, Sharpsville, Jackson Center, Stoneboro, Salem, New Castle District; and New Lebanon.
They became the parents of two children: Rev. Frank Lawson Teets, a prominent preacher in the Pittsburgh Conference, and Mae M. Teets Martin.
Mary Ella Lawson Teets died 3 Sept 1912 at her home in Dayton, PA.
