Emma Florence Taylor Perry was born 26 Jun 1874 to Joseph and Emma Burford Taylor in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA.

She died 30 Aug 1957 at Meadville Hosp, Meadville, Crawford Co., PA, where she had resided at the Meadville Home for a number of years. Burial 1 Sept 1957 in St. John's Cemetery in Greenville per her funeral book.

She was granddaughter of John Taylor, Eli and Elizabeth Burford, immigrants who came from England in 1844 with their children.

Emma Florence Taylor Perry was the wife of Ernest Justin Perry, born 13 Aug 1876 in Pease Twp., Belmont Co., OH, died 16 Mar1932 in Hempfield, Mercer Co., PA. Ernest is of the Parry family of Eastern PA, being the son of Benjamin Scot and Emma Moore Parry of Scotch Ridge Moores, in Belmont Co., Ohio. The Moore farm and the Alexander farm of ancestors at Scotch Ridge, still existed a number of years ago, and still in hands of descendants.

Emma was a fine artist/painter, she was a farmers wife and lived most of her life in Sharon or Greenville, Mercer Co., PA. She quilted beautifully made and designed quilts as well as her beautiful landscape and figure paintings. She also sewed most of the clothing the family wore.

She and her husband were members of Church of Christ in Fredonia, PA.

Ernest and Emma Florence Perry became the parents of three children:

*Winifred Beatrice Perry who married Charles Coleman Cox (his third wife), in Greenville in 1925. They had one son, Owen Taylor Cox born 1928 in Mercer, Mercer Co., PA; They lived in Transfer, Mercer Co., PA, in a house they built on 8 acres of land. She later married Rev. Robert L. Roberts, a widower, in Doylestown, Bucks Co, PA.
*Delmos Perry, born in Lawrence Co, PA, married Inez Means, they lived in Ohio and West Palm Beach, Florida where they both died. They had two daughters.
*Travis Owen Perry, born in Lawrence Co, PA, married Irene Berardino in a double wedding with her brother. They had no children, lived in Hubbard, Ohio. He is also deceased.
