The Brown Hamilton store was in New Castle.
The woman on the left is Hazel Sturdevent. She was a cashier at the store. Due to her height, she had to sit on a box to get to the register.
Hazel Sturdevent was the daughter of Charles and Clara Pregenzer Sturdevent. She married Adolph C. Roth. She also liked to make peanut butter.
The rest of the folks in the photo are unknown.
