Photo from an old postcard.
Saw this photograph while doing a search recently. I grew up on N. 11th street just past this wonderful old building. Having lived in Indiana, Pa my entire life I have fond memories of many, long-since-gone, old buildings. In my teenage years my neighborhood friends would explore the inside of the wonderful brewery. We'd watch fireworks on the fourth of July from its rooftop. Does anyone remember White's Tomb, which was located in White's Woods on N. 12th street? I believe it is long gone. Pity!
White's tomb is still there...just not publicized, as it is adjacent to one of the big houses on white's wood trail in the sub-division. You can see it from the road in winter, if you know where to look.
