F. M. Lewis, Clarion, PA front

This CDV (carte de visite) was taken at F. M. Lewis Studio, Clarion, PA. The back on the mount says F.M Lewis, Artistic Photographer, Clarion, PA. It is a head-and-shoulders view of a young lady in a sideways pose. She has dark hair that is pulled back in a bun with a heavy bang. She has a white collar with a pin at the neck.

These pictures were popular during the Civil War, so might be of my great great grandmother, Mary Ann Potter Terwilliger, and given to her husband William Terwillger when he went of to war. They both lived in Millcreek Twp, Clarion Co, PA. This picture was found at the Humphrey-Terwilliger farm in Millcreek Twp.
