This picture was taken at Knapp Studio, Brookville, PA in the 1890s. It might be of the children of Frank and Ida Humphrey Grady or Charles and Laura Humphrey White. The picture is mounted in a field of beige, then is edged with a gray line, then an embossed swirl pattern in beige, and then plain beige background. There is a small gray line around outside edge. Corners are round. Props include a chair at a small ice cream parlor-type table which a girl is sitting at, the older boy is standing at table holding a block and the two youngest are standing at a square wood table. A fur rug is on the floor.
The girl is wearing a sailor dress, white with ¾ sleeves and white blue/black cuffs, 2 white lines on cuff, blue/black bow on side, wide collar of blue/black trimmed with 2 white lines, ends in bow, lace slip. She is also wearing white stockings and open high black shoes. Her hair is parted on side, is shoulder length with a bow holding back her light hair. The boys are wearing white sailor suits with knee-length pants, black stockings and black shoes. Both have light hair. The baby is wearing a long white dress with a square collar over shoulder and chest trimmed with lace, long sleeves ending in cuffs, skirt ends at ankles, lace slip, and black shoes. The hair is curly, and both hair and eyes are light.
