This comment is for Scot Novak - I am related to Margaret Hartman Swaney and was wondering if it's the same person... My research and records show she was born in the mid to late 1770s and that her parents were Jacob Hartman and Sallie Saylor. Does this jive with your info?

I see a lot of similarities in facial features and names of Swaneys. Please contact me. I believe that we may be from the same line. (The majority of my grandfather's siblings went by Sweeney. Our line went by Swaney.)

My Margaret Hartman Swaney was born 1845 died 1922 in Fairchance, Fayette Co. PA. she was the daughter of Charles and Jane Hartman, where did your Swaney's live? you can contact me at sanova@atlanticbb.net
