Sharpsville High School Students 1930-31

Probably a freshman or sophomore class home room in the 1930-31 school year. These students would have graduated Sharpsville High School in 1934 or 1935.

Margaret Ina Dodge Kinley was born 7 Dec 1905 in Conneautville, PA. After graduating Edinboro Normal School 3 Jun 1924 she taught at Beech Rural School with grades one through eight until 1927. In 1927, she began teaching at the Sharpsville Junior High School. She married Forrest Lynn Kinley, Sr. He taught Chemistry and Physics at Sharpsville High School from 1929-1932, until he accepted a position of Principal of the Ridgway Junior High School. For years, Margaret Ina Dodge Kinley was a substitute in the Ridgway School system. Years later she went back to Edinboro College and earned the required credits to become a certified special education teacher and taught until she retired.
