William Swan McWhirter
William Swan McWhirter was born 14 May 1862 in Lackawannock Township. He was the sixth child of John McWhirter and his third wife Mary Jane Garvin.
He married Margaret Hassel on 24 Feb 1891. They were the parents of 13 children, two of which were Mary Elizabeth McWhirter Forrester and John Howard 'Jack' McWhirter.
William Swan McWhirter died 24 Nov 1941.
